These terms apply to your use of treeservicesouthjersey.com. Service agreements for actual tree work are governed by the written estimate and contract you sign with us, not by this page — but here's a summary of how things work.

Use of this site

The content on this site is provided for general information. It's accurate to the best of our knowledge but is not a substitute for an on-site assessment of your specific tree by a qualified arborist. Don't rely on a blog post to make safety decisions about a tree near a structure or person.

Estimates

Written estimates we provide are good for 30 days from the date of the estimate. After that, conditions change (the tree changes, our scheduling changes, supply costs change) and we may need to revise. Estimates are based on the conditions visible at the time of the visit; if hidden conditions emerge during the work (concealed decay, buried obstructions, unmarked utilities), we'll stop and discuss before proceeding.

Scheduling

Non-emergency work is scheduled in the order it's contracted. Weather delays happen — wet ground, high winds, lightning — and we'd rather reschedule than risk damage to your property or our crew. We give as much notice as we can.

Payment

Payment terms are noted on every written estimate. We typically take payment on completion for residential work (check, card, or ACH). Larger projects may have a deposit and progress payment structure noted in the contract.

Insurance and liability

We carry $2 million in general liability insurance and full workers' compensation coverage on every employee. We can provide a current Certificate of Insurance on request. We are responsible for damage caused by our negligence; we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden obstructions you didn't disclose, or damage outside our scope of work.

Disclaimers

Trees are biological organisms in dynamic environments. We can identify visible problems, recommend best-practice treatments, and execute work to professional standards — we cannot guarantee future tree behavior or ecological outcomes that depend on weather, pests, and conditions outside our control.
